It is a ministry that began when "worship leader, Jason Houser, was asked to write some songs to help kids remember the verses from his church's summer Bible school." Five CD's later (a 6th one is on the way) those verses and many more are being sung and memorized by not only children, but families.

The CD's are a blend of adults leading and kids singing along. They contain over 58 portions of Scripture set to contemporary music. In addition to their CD sets you can purchase DVD's, t-shirts, and journals. You can also download a verse memorization checklist and memory cards that go along with the songs. I always love good stuff for my kids to listen to!! :) I love to cement Scripture in their little heads.
I would love for some Christian music to play in the car for my girls! I get tired of editing what is on the radio for small ears. :)

very cool. where did you hear about them? we have weekly scripture verses we memorize as a family. They always enjoy singing scripture. The boys love listening to the bible, Adventures in Odyssey, Chronicles of Narnia, and Veggie Tales worship songs before going to bed, at nap time and in the car. These cd's would be a great addition to their listening collection.
This is great Amber! Ella is always wanting to listen to things in the car and this is an excellent way to teach God's word and enjoy music!

Amber, Casey and I were just speaking about this this weekend. We cannot wait to share the word of God with our sweet baby. We already pray and sing to "Tiny" but discussed making a CD that was filled with worship songs and scripture. When I received your email today I couldn't help but smile. God heard our prayers! Thank you for sharing this. I can't wait to provide "Tiny" with the opportunity to hide God's word in his/her heart and learn to sing in praise to our Heavenly Father. Ooooooh! I love this!!! and I LOVE the sound of the music! I am so bad at memorizing scripture but I listen to music ALL the time in my car...so if I had this playing day in and day out I could grasp so much more of the word in my heart!
Scott grew up with CD's like these and so much of his scripture memorization comes from those CD's, what an AWESOME tool!!! and I would so LOVE to hear little Liv humming and eventually singing along! Great give-a-way! Thanks Amber :)
